Westside Whiskers was founded by Theresa Uhrig, a
native of New Jersey who relocated to Los Angeles in 1994. She is a life-long pet owner with over 20 years of pet sitting
experience and has been a volunteer for a local animal rescue group since 2006. She regularly fosters rescued cats, orphaned
kittens, and dogs. She is also committed to doing her part to reduce the homeless feline population in the Los Angeles
area through TNR (trap-neuter-release) of feral cats.
